Update – National Helper Seminar & Trial Schedule

This notice is being sent to all club contacts and admins as listed on GSSCC360. This is important so please read.

We have 2 things to communicate that are important.

  1. We are looking for a club to host the National Helper seminar the weekend of June 1-2 or June  29-30 2024. Please email  ontarioschutzhund@gmail.com if your club is interested in hosting email or contact myself before  February 29, 2024. (must be an accredited club)
  2. The Ontario region board met yesterday and agreed that we need to find a solution (even if temporary) to address the shortage of weekends to host trials. Our region now has 14 GSSCC accredited clubs and there isn’t enough weekends to book trials if all clubs booked a trial. The decision was made that for 2024 we will waive the every other weekend requirement to allow all clubs to be able to book a trial. This will be reviewed year to year going forward.  This applied to new trial requests ONLY for clubs who have NOT booked a trial yet. If your club already booked 1 or more trials already new requests will not be approved.

Exceptions: ***There will be no trials approved 2 weekends prior to the Ontario regionals(May 24-25-26, 2024) or on the same weekend as CWDF Championship (June 14-16 2024).***
