The region has developed set of guidelines to help clubs with planning and hosting the Ontario Regional Championship Trial and Show. This is an annual event that is the highlight of the competitive season, short of the National Championship. Both the organizers and the competitors are held to a higher standard than at a club trial, and more is at stake. For some competitors, doing well here is necessary to their plans to try out for the World Team.

Upcoming Regional Championship

DSC_3092Just a reminder that the Regional Championship Trial and Show are fast approaching – June 2-4, and June 17-18.

The hosting club, Capital City Schutzhund Club, would like to remind you:
Deadlines:
TRIAL  participants – last day to enter is MAY 26th

Spots are filling up fast. Please don’t leave it to the last minute.

Also ensure that your GSSCC memberships are up to date, as you can’t enter without a valid membership.
Even if you are not competing – this is one of the main events of the season, and an excellent occasion to come out and cheer for the competitors and the dogs! We look forward to seeing you there.

This is to advise you of the upcoming annual general meeting of the members of Ontario Region Schutzhund Association. The details of this meeting are as follows:

Date: June 2, 2017
Time: 6 pm

If you have anything that you wish to add to the agenda, please forward it to Dwyn Tomlinson (ontarioschutzhund@gmail.com) by May 26 for inclusion in the agenda.

A club or clubs wishing to host the Regional Championship Trial, Show and Breed Survey for 2018 should apply to the Regional Board BEFORE the AGM. If there is more than one application, the members present at the AGM will vote on the decision. The next year’s host will be announced at the AGM.

We apologize for the shortened notice. If you would like to object – please let us know now, but the board felt that keeping it on the expected date would be less of a surprise than moving it and inconveniencing everyone by adding another event to their schedule.
