Three items have been put before the Ontario members for voting. All members with an email address have been sent an electronic vote. Please check your email for information.

Due to unforeseen circumstance, the dates for the Regional Show and Breed Survey have been moved, and the judge has been changed.
The new date is July 6-8, and the new judge will be Edgar Pertl (SV).
Due to the weather forecast for the weekend, the heavy rain and the high risk of freezing rain/ice storm, the Ontario Regional Board and the Teaching Helpers have decided to postpone the National Helper seminar.
For the helpers and handlers planning to come, transportation would be potentially dangerous, and the fieldwork itself, for the helpers and the dogs, too prone to injury.
The new date for the seminar is May 26-27 and will take place at the TOP Working Dog Club in Aylmer.
We all regret this last minute notice, but there is unfortunately little we can do.
Ontario Region Members,
The results of the open positions up for election are as follows. The successful applicants will assume their roles effective the 2018 Regional AGM.
Chairperson: Hank Bowden (appointed by acclamation)
Show Director: Frank Caputo (appointed by acclamation)

Helper Seminar with Craig Wandtke – Niagara Hundesport
Location: Fenwick, ON
6 spots, Entry & Club Levels only
Contact: Renee Lucescu
Also – members – please support your Ontario helpers by coming out with dogs for the helpers to work. Without our helpers – we don’t have a sport!
Niagara Hundesport and Wainfleet WDC would like to invite all GSSCC clubs from the Ontario region to a training working weekend where we will share the club grounds to allow members to take advantage of the use of different fields, helpers etc.
The date is September 30th at WWDC and October 1st at Niagara Hundesport. The two clubs are located 15 mins from each other. Lunch and drinks will be provided for a small fee at the field, as well as we would like to encourage helpers from the Region to attend and work different dogs. Please if you plan on coming out with a dog, let Jennifer and/or Renee Lucescu know so they have an idea of how many will attend, and can plan for food, as well as plan and coordinate the field time for everyone.
Hope to see everyone there!
