BH-VT
- Report on leash to the judge
- Report your name and dogs name.
- On Judges instruction go to start position or long down.
- Note: you must be ready to start by the time the long down is in position.
Obedience BH-VT (On and Off Leash ) On Leash 15 pts, Off Leash 15 Pts
Commands: “Fuss” / “Heel”
- From; Basic Position (on Leash)
- Heel / Fuss out straight 50 +- paces then about turn.
- Heel / Fuss normal 10-15 paces
- Change to fast (run) 10-15 paces

- Change to normal pace 10-15 paces
- Note: you can use command Heel/Fuss at each pace changes

NOTE. Motion exercises may be completed 2 ways only: stopped or in motion (slight pause change of pace is now incorrect). If stopped and the sit or down command is given, wait 3 sec pause, and then leave the dog. If done in motion as in IGP 1-2-3, no change in movement is allowed (as always). The sit and the down may be done differently without deduction. Example: handler stops to give sit and waits 3 sec and leaves, then for the down the handler does it in motion without stopping.
LONG DOWN (Down under Distraction) 10 pts
Commands: “Platz” / “Down”, “Sitz” / “Sit”
- Heel to the long down marker,
- Dog sits. look at judge, remove leash on signal.
- Say down / platz your dog on judges signal
- Walk away to designated spot (about 30 paces.) back to the dog
- On Judges signal return to your dog
- Dog is still down stand in basic position tell dog to sit. (3 sec,)
- Replace leash.
- (if last dog. report out to judge, if first dog do heeling routine)

ENCOUNTER WITH A GROUP OF PEOPLE
On the judge’s request the handler and the dog walk along a designated stretch of the sidewalk. The dog is on a leash.

- Dumbbell must be thrown approx. 10 meters away
- If you move a leg to toss the dumbbell Pause 3 sec,
- Once dumbbell has stopped rolling send your dog to retrieve.
- Dog returns sitting in front pause 3 sec, take dumbbell (out) hold in right hand
- pause 3 sec, finish. to the basic position. On Judges signal
- Heel to 1-meter jump.
Retrieve over the 1m hurdle 15 pts
Commands: “Hopp” / “Jump”, “Bring” / “Fetch”, “Aus” / “Out”, “Fuss” / “Heel”
- Set up no less then 4 meters from the jump
- On Judges signal, Throw the dumbbell over the 1m jump
- (about 4 meters past the jump)
- Pause 3 sec. tell dog to jump then when in motion tell dog to bring
- Dog returns with dumbbell, sits in front wait 3 sec. take dumbbell (out)
- Pause 3 sec. finish. to the basic position. On Judges signal
- Heel and return dumbbell to stand.
Climbing over the scaling wall 15 pts
Commands: “Hopp” / “Jump” ,Hier /come , “Fuss” / “Heel”
- Heel to angle wall
- Take up designated spot. From basic position on Judges signal leave your dog. (sit)
- Go to other side of the angle wall. (4 m from jump)
- On Judges signal call your dog,
- (jump command, Over / hopp or name and front command (here)
- Once in front pause 3 sec then finish. to the basic position,

Send out with Down: 10 pts

Protection:
IPG 1
Search for helper 5 pts
Commands: “Voran”/ Go On” or “Revier” / “Search”, “Hier” / “Come”
- Check in to judge on leash or as directed
- Proceed to center line facing downfield in line with blind 6.
- Take up basic position, remove leash,
- Raise you arm to let the judge know your ready. Face blind 6 with dog,
- send dog to blind 6
- handler to remain standing until he receives an instruction from the judge to approach the dog for the call out or pickup.
Hold and Bark: 15 pts (10 pts for hold 5 pts for bark)
Commands: (completion) “Hier Fuss” / “Come Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”
- Dog to hold and bark for 20+- sec. judge will signal you to come to the blind.
- To the marked spot. About 5 paces in front of the blind.
- On signal from judge
- Call dog from the blind to basic position or
- Pick -up; move to the dog take up basic position command dog to sit. either; put on leash or without leash, heel dog back to basic position; marked area, in front of blind 6
Prevention of an attempted escape of the helper 20 pts
Commands: “Fuss” / “Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”, “Aus” / “Out”
- On Judges signal, tell helper to step out of the blind;
- The helper will move to his spot.
- On Judges signal heel to the escape marked position.
- On leash – at the marker, dog sits remove leash, down your dog.
- Off Leash – at the marker, dog sits, down your dog.
- The handler returns to the blind and remains there with a view on the dog and the Judge. The Judge signals the helper to escape.
- At Judges signal; As helper escapes the handler must command the dog to prevent the escape
- Dog should engage the helper at a run. When helper stops, out your dog.
Defense against an attack from the guarding phase 30 pts
Command: “Aus” / “Out”
- After guarding, helper attacks dog , dog should engage, and is driven by the helper and receives 2 stick threats
- After the drive helper stops out your dog, dog should guard (bark and hold)
- On Judges signal approach your dog
- Standing beside your dog command to sit. Replace leash.
- Heel down the field for the long attack.
- Note: you may also heel down the field OFF Leash.
Attack on the dog out of motion 30 pts
Commands: “Voran” / “Go on”, “Aus” / “Out”, “Fuss”/ “Heel”
- Heeling about 30 meters from the helper down the field (on or off leash)
- Once at the designated spot, turn and face the helper, dog in basic position command to sit, (remove leash if using)
- You may hold the collar, on Judges signal helper first, then the dog handler, release the dog with a command, dog engages, helper drives dog, when helper stops out your dog. (dog should guard (hold and bark))
- On Judges signal, handler returns to his dog, to basic position (command sit)
- May replace leash (or not)
- Take up position next to the helper for side transport, disarm helper (take stick.) (dog between helper and handler)
- Heel / transport to the Judge about 20 paces, command to heel or transport.
- Basic position in front of judge, hand over padded stick to judge, report out, i.e. “Jane and Rex, IGP 1 Protection completed.”
- On Judge’s direction go to area to either replace leash, and or go to area of critique.
IPG 2
Search for helper 5 pts
Commands: “Voran”/ Go On” or “Revier” / “Search”, “Hier” / “Come”
- Check in to Judge off leash or as directed
- Proceed to center of field in line with blind 3. Facing downfield
- Taking up basic position,
- Raise you arm to let the judge know you are ready.
- On Judges signal turn towards blind 3 and send dog
- The handler calls the dogs name and gives a voice command to “Come/Heir” toward him, then gives a verbal command and points to the next blind for searching.
- The dog handler moves in the normal pace on the imaginary center line, which he must not leave during the blind search. When the dog has reached the helper’s blind, no further commands or hand signals are permitted, and the dog handler must stop as soon as the dog enters blind 6 and remain standing until he receives an instruction from the judge to approach the dog for the call out.
Hold and Bark: 15 pts
Commands: (completion) “Hier Fuss” / “Come Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”
- Dog to hold and bark for 20+- sec. Judge will signal you to come to the blind.
- To the marked spot. About 5 paces in front of the blind.
- On signal from judge.
- Call dog from the blind to basic position
Prevention of an attempted escape 15 pts
Commands: “Fuss” / “Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”, “Aus” / “Out”
- On Judges signal, tell helper to step out of the blind;
- The helper will move to his spot.
- On Judges signal heel to the escape marked position. Stop sit
- At the marker down your dog.
- The handler returns to the blind and remains there with a view on the dog and the Judge. The Judge signals the helper to escape.
- At Judges signal; As helper escapes the handler must command the dog to prevent the escape
- Dog should engage the helper at a run. When helper stops, out your dog.
Defense against an attack from the guarding phase 20 pts
Command: “Aus” / “Out”
- After guarding helper attacks dog, dog should engage, and is driven by the helper and receives 2 stick threats
- After the drive helper stops, out your dog, dog should guard (bark and hold)
- On Judges signal approach your dog
- Standing beside your dog command to sit.
Back transport 5 pts
Command: “Fuss” / “Heel”
transport is carried out over a distance of 30 paces
- handler commands the helper to step back and move out, following about 8 paces back
- helper stops and stands still on the order from the judge.
- The handler goes to the helper with his dog, who is attentive to the helper, stands beside the helper and takes the padded stick. The dog must sit in the basic position. Thereafter, a side transport to the judge is shown over a distance of about 20 paces.
- command for the transport is allowed.
- The dog has to go between the helper and the handler.
- At the end of the transport, the handler takes a basic position with his dog in front of the Judge hands over the padded stick to the Judge and announces, the first part of protection is complete, i.e. “Jane and Rex, IGP 2 Protection, Front half completed.”
Attack on the dog out of motion 20 pts
Commands: “Voran” / “Go on”, “Aus” / “Out”, “Fuss”/ “Heel”
- On instruction from the Judge, the dog handler takes his dog, off leash heeling about
- 40 meters from the helper down the field
- Once at the designated spot, turn and face the helper, dog in basic position command to sit,

Defense against an attack from the guarding phase 20 pts
Commands: “Aus” / “Out”, “Sitz” / “Sit”, “Fuss” / “Heel”
- On Judges instruction the helper will engage the dog,
- When drive stops, out your dog,
- On the judge’s instructions, the handler goes to his dog, returns him into the basic position with the command to sit. The padded stick is removed from the helper. The handler may disarm the helper any way he/she wants as long as the dog and handler remain together during the disarm.
- side transport, with the dog off leash, to the judge over a distance of about 20 paces
- At the end of the transport, the handler takes a basic position in front of the judge, hands the padded stick to the judge and reports that protection is complete
- On Judges signal handler must free heel 5 paces away from the judge before taking a basic position and putting the leash on. The handler goes with his dog on leash, at the direction of the Judge, under control to the position for the critique.
IGP 3
Search for helper 10 pts
Commands: “Voran”/ Go On” or “Revier” / “Search”, “Hier” / “Come”
- Check in to judge off leash or as directed
- Proceed to center of field in line with blind 1. Facing downfield
- Taking up basic position,
- Raise you arm to let the judge know you are ready.
- On Judges signal turn towards blind 1 and send dog
- The handler calls the dogs name and gives a voice command to “Come” toward him, then gives a verbal command and points to the next blind for searching.
- The dog handler moves in the normal pace on the imaginary center line, which he must not leave during the blind search. When the dog has reached the helper’s blind, no further commands or hand signals are permitted, and the dog handler must stop as soon as the dog enters blind 6 and remain standing until he receives an instruction from the Judge to approach the dog for the call out.
Hold and Bark: 15 pts
Commands: (completion) “Hier Fuss” / “Come Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”
- Dog to hold and bark for 20+- sec. Judge will signal you to come to the blind.
- To the marked spot. About 5 paces in front of the blind.
- On signal from Judge.
- Call dog from the blind to basic position
Prevention of an attempted escape 10 pts
Commands: “Fuss” / “Heel”, “Platz” / “Down”, “Aus” / “Out”
- On Judges signal, tell helper to step out of the blind;
- The helper will move to his spot.
- On Judges signal heel to the escape marked position, Stop, (dog to sit)
- At the marker down your dog.
- The handler returns to the blind and remains there with a view on the dog and the Judge. The Judge signals the helper to escape.
- At Judges signal; As helper escapes the handler must command the dog to prevent the escape
- Dog should engage the helper at a run. When helper stops, out your dog.
Defense against an attack from the guarding phase 15 pts

- After guarding helper attacks dog, dog should engage, and is driven by the helper and receives 2 stick threats
- After the drive helper stops, out your dog, dog should guard (bark and hold)
- On Judges signal approach your dog

Back transport 5 pts
Command: “Fuss” / “Heel”
- transport is carried out over a distance of 30 paces
- handler asks the helper to step back and move out following about 8 paces back
Attack on the dog out of the back transport 15 pts
Command: “Aus” / “Out”
- During the back transport and without stopping, at the direction of the judge, the helper attacks the dog without the intervention of the handler and without hesitation, the dog must engage the helper
- When helper stops the drive, out your dog, (dog to hold and bark)
- On Judges instruction go to dog, sit move to side transport. Disarm helper,
- Transport about 20 paces to judge.
- At the end of the transport, the handler takes a basic position with his dog in front of the Judge, hands over the padded stick to the Judge and announces the first part of protection is complete.
Attack on the dog out of motion 15 pts
Commands: “Voran” / “Go on”, “Aus” / “Out”, “Fuss”/ “Heel”
- On instruction from the Judge, heeling about 50 meters from the helper down the field off leash, inline with blind 1;
- Once at the designated spot, turn and face the helper, down the field dog in basic position command to sit,

Tracking:
Within a track the articles must be made of different materials (e.g., leather, textiles, wood). In the case of Championships and FH examinations, the articles must be numbered. These numbers must be the same as the track number.
Article size in cm. L: 10 W: 2-3 H: 0,5-1
An occasional praise on the track is permissible in IPG 1 & 2 only, but not in the corners (dog’s body length before and after the corner).
In addition, a short praise at the article is permitted in all levels. This can be done before or after the display of the article, but not both.
IGP1
