Trial Manager Seminar with Racine Hyatt-Auld.
Effective 2019, all GSSCC IPO trials must be run by an accredited Trial Manager. The name “Manager” has been chosen to replace the term “Secretary” to reflect the more significant responsibilities that the Trial Manager has for the success of the trial, and for the attention and accuracy that is due from the paperwork and procedures of the trial.
The trial is a serious process. Each dog must be authenticated, and the records accurately maintained, as we are creating a record for future generations that breeding decisions may well be based on.
Every trial will need a certified trial manager, and each club should have at least two trial managers, otherwise one person will be denied the advantage of ever trialing on their home field.

- The seminar will start promptly at 11. Please arrive in good time.
- Location: Rosewood Pet Resorts – Scarborough. 15 Reesor Rd. Scarborough,
ON M1X 1R5. This facility is generously donated for this seminar, please respect designated parking areas and existing clientele traffic.
To bring:
- Download and print the GSSCC forms that you would need for a trial, from the GSSCC website. Official Documents – Trial Column
- GSSCC Rulebook (Each club should have it’s own copy of the rulebook.)
- Pen and Clipboard
- A Chair
Water and Light Refreshments will be provided.
Format: The seminar will start with a Theory Presentation, followed by a Mock Trial, and the day will wrap up with the Certification Test. Paperwork will be sent to the Trial Manager Program Coordinator for evaluation, and participants will receive notification of certification status or recommendation regarding follow-up work.
