QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANADIAN GSD CHAMPIONSHIPS (Nationals)
Minimum G (240) rating from one GSSCC Championship to the next
Canadian residents must be GSSCC member in good standing, Non-residents must be a member in good standing of a WUSV affiliated organization.
Open to all dogs. The dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEAM CANADA
Minimum 250 score IGP3, with minimum 80 in each phase, with the intended competition dog, in the year since the last Championship. TSB must be pronounced.
SV hip and elbow certification, “still accepted” or better.
Familiarize yourself with the rules. Start early.
Submit Letter of Intent to your Regional Chairperson as well as the Team Canada Coordinator before the Nationals. Refer to the GSSCC website if you are not sure who they are.

The top five GSD teams at the Nationals will be offered a position on Team Canada. Should one of the top five decline, then the opportunity will be given to the next qualifying score in descending order until
the five positions are filled. There will be NO alternate.
Handlers must be a member in good standing of the GSSCC for the 24 months preceding
the date of application for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEAM CANADA (UNIVERSAL TEAM)
Handler’s responsibility to send letter of intent to Regional Chair and Team Coordinator prior to the Nationals
Same qualifications as above, with the addition of a show rating of G or better in the last year.
The dog must receive a pronounced rating at and during the most current trials listed
below;
Any of the GSSCC Regional Championships
The most recent Canadian GSD Championship
The most recent Canadian GSD Sieger Show

Five teams will make up the GSSCC Universal Team. The top male and
top female as determined by the Universal formula will form the GSSCC Universal Team.
The other positions will be filled by using the Universal formula. Should one of the top five
decline, then the opportunity will be given to the next qualifying dog, male or female, in
descending order until the five positions are filled. Dogs must receive a minimum G rating
in the Sieger Show to qualify.
Handlers must be a member in good standing of the GSSCC for the 24 months
preceding the date of application for the team.

QUALIFICATION FOR TEAM CANADA (FCI TEAM)
Qualification for this Team will be held under the Canadian Working Dog Federation .
